Barcelona have completed the signing of highly rated Swedish winger Rooney Bardghji from FC Copenhagen in a move that reflects the club’s ongoing strategy of building for the future. The 18-year-old has signed a four-year contract, with the transfer fee reported to be €2 million plus a sell-on clause for the Danish side.
After weeks of negotiations and growing speculation, the deal is now official. Bardghji had been on the radar of several European clubs, most notably FC Porto, who were close to securing him.
